Caramel Alabaster had it's hay-day many years ago. Seemingly, the trend fizzled out.
White Alabaster was the go-to for anyone with the taste for the warm light the stone gave. This always puzzled us but we weren't beyond thinking it was about the application of the light. Darker stones would naturally diffuse the light more than lighter stones would. Caramel Alabaster in many ways was equal in beauty but it would cause the spread of light to wash up a room's ceiling rather than go through it and illuminate whatever is below it.
But come on...
Caramel Alabaster is gorgeous.
